\ THE CHALLENGE
Instrument sought the partnership of Minimal Massive to collaborate on an animation for Atlassian's Trello. Their in-house team handled storyboarding, sound, and character design/animation, leaving the execution of the 3D elements to our studio. The goal was to produce a visually compelling campaign that effectively showcased Trello’s unique features and appealed to enterprise users.
\ THE SOLUTION
Facing the challenge of coordinating multiple remote artists and overcoming software limitations, I introduced modular pipeline adjustments to enhance our workflow’s flexibility which allowed us to adapt swiftly to technical setbacks, keeping the project on track and maintaining quality.
As the Creative Director, I led the project by managing our 3D pipeline and overseeing a dedicated team of artists. My responsibilities included:
3D Pipeline Management: Developing and optimizing the workflow to ensure efficient modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, and compositing.
Team Leadership: Coordinating remote artists, providing creative direction and fostering a collaborative environment to maintain high-quality standards.
Client Communications: Serving as the primary liaison with Instrument, ensuring their vision was accurately translated and addressing any feedback promptly.
